Confirm a Heavyweight Fit
Tempest’s padded full-goatskin construction should feel secure without pressure across the knuckles or fingertips. Measure both hands and do not rely on leather break-in to correct a restrictive fit.
Buying gloves online? Start with your hand measurements. This guide shows two common measurements—hand circumference and hand length—for people choosing everyday, outdoor or heated gloves.
The measuring technique is useful beyond Arcfomor. Each brand and model can have different sizing requirements, so follow the instructions and size chart for the gloves you plan to buy.
See where to place the tape in this 32-second silent tutorial by Arcfomor. Record your measurements, then compare them with the size chart for your chosen glove brand and model.
Hand size can differ slightly from left to right. Measure both hands and write down the circumference and length of each, using the same unit throughout. Follow your chosen brand’s guidance on which hand or measurement to use.
Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles. Do not include your thumb. Keep your hand relaxed and the tape snug, but not tight.
Measure from the wrist crease at the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Keep your hand flat with your fingers naturally extended.
No flexible tape? Wrap a piece of string around your palm, mark where the ends meet and measure the string with a ruler.

These measurements describe different parts of the hand and are not interchangeable. Check which measurements your chosen glove brand requests.
Measured around the widest part of the palm below the knuckles, excluding the thumb. Keep the tape snug without squeezing your hand.
The straight-line distance across the palm. It is not the same as circumference. If a size chart asks for palm width, follow that brand’s diagram for the exact measuring points.
Measured from the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger. It helps determine whether the glove fingers will provide enough length.
Keep your circumference and length readings together with their units. Compare them with the chart for the exact gloves you want to buy. A size M in one brand may fit differently from a size M in another.
If your readings fall between sizes, point to different sizes or sit outside the chart, check that model’s fit notes or ask the brand for help. Liner gloves and insulated outer gloves can require different amounts of room.
Arcfomor makes heated gloves for different ways of spending time outdoors. Use the calculator and chart below to explore your size, then compare models such as Spider Silk and Feather for the activities you have in mind.
The calculator, chart and model advice below apply to Arcfomor gloves. For another brand, use that brand’s own size chart.
For Arcfomor gloves, select your model, choose inches or centimeters and enter the larger circumference and length readings from your two hands. Results are a starting point; check the selected model’s fit notes before ordering.

Available sizes: Ember is available in S–2XL. Dragonfly is available in L and XL. Other current Arcfomor glove models are available in S–XL.
If circumference and length indicate different sizes, use the larger measurement as your starting point. Fit can vary by model, so check the selected product page before ordering. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size unless that model recommends otherwise.
Heated gloves should feel secure without squeezing the palm, limiting finger movement or creating pressure at the fingertips. A glove that is too loose can reduce dexterity and make it harder to grip tools, handlebars, ski poles or a phone.
Dragonfly is Arcfomor's dedicated heated liner and is designed for a closer fit. It should not feel restrictive. When wearing it under another glove, make sure the outer glove has enough room for the liner, your fingers and the wrist battery area.
These models can be worn on their own or layered under a roomier outer glove. They are thicker than Dragonfly, so check the available space inside your outer shell before using them as liners.
These gloves should leave enough room for natural finger movement without excess material at the fingertips. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size rather than relying on the insulation to stretch.
Check palm comfort, finger length and access to the controls. The glove should feel secure when gripping the handlebar without pulling tightly across the knuckles or bunching at the fingertips.
If your measurements indicate different sizes: use the larger size as your starting point. For example, if circumference indicates M and length indicates L, start with L. If your measurements fall outside the available sizes for a product, contact us rather than forcing the closest size.
Your recommended size is only part of the decision. Consider whether you need a dedicated liner, a versatile lightweight glove or a warmer everyday option.
Best for customers who want the thinnest dedicated heated liner to wear under an existing outer glove. Available in L and XL.

Find My Heated Gloves
Tempest is a thick standalone heated motorcycle glove built for riders who want substantial leather coverage during cold-weather commuting, touring and recreational off-road riding. Its full-goatskin shell, insulation, battery pocket and built-in structure create a firmer feel than a lightweight or uninsulated riding glove.
Expect more material around the levers and switches than you would find in a slim summer glove. Before riding, become familiar with the throttle, brake, clutch and secondary controls while the motorcycle is stationary.
Goatskin forms the main exterior across the palm, back of the hand, fingers and extended gauntlet. The black shell is finished with orange accent detailing, giving Tempest a distinct appearance within the Arcfomor motorcycle glove line.
The fingers are pre-curved to follow a natural riding position rather than lying completely flat. As with other substantial leather gloves, the shell may feel firmer when new and develop more natural creasing through regular use.
A genuine carbon-fiber shell forms a rigid outer layer over the main knuckle area.
Fixed reinforcement adds structure around the palm-heel landing area and the base of the thumb.
Padded sections add buffering around the finger joints, thumb base and extended cuff.
The built-in structure makes Tempest firmer and heavier than a mixed-material or lightly insulated glove. It is intended for cold-weather street riding, touring and recreational off-road use—not track riding or professional racing.
3M Thinsulate™ provides passive insulation across both the palm and back of the hand. The active heating elements cover the full back of the hand and the backs of the fingers. The palm and finger pads do not contain heating elements. Each glove has its own control button and three adjustable heat settings.
High is useful for initial warm-up or periods of lower movement. Reduce the setting once comfortable to manage battery use. Estimates are based on the included 7.4V 3000mAh batteries. Actual runtime varies with temperature, wind, battery condition, charge level and changes between settings. Tempest operates only from compatible standalone glove batteries and does not connect directly to a motorcycle or heated jacket.
An internal waterproof membrane provides the main barrier against normal rain, snow and road spray. A waterproof zipper closes the battery pocket, helping protect the battery compartment during everyday cold-weather riding.
The extended gauntlet is designed to overlap a jacket sleeve and secures with a hook-and-loop closure. Waterproof construction is not the same as immersion protection, so avoid soaking the gloves and keep the batteries, connectors and charging components dry.
The fingers follow a partially curved shape intended for a natural handlebar position. The full-leather shell and insulation will feel more substantial than a lighter riding glove.
Additional goatskin reinforcement and textured contact areas support general handlebar grip. The fixed palm-heel structure will feel firmer than the same area on a soft leather or textile glove.
Both gloves have touchscreen-compatible thumb and index-finger areas. Response varies by device, screen protector, weather and the precision required.
The long hook-and-loop gauntlet houses the zippered battery pocket. A pairing clip helps keep the gloves together, while a diagonal reflective strip runs from the knuckle area toward the cuff.
Choose by shell coverage, cuff design and built-in structure—not price alone.

Remove both batteries and spot clean the goatskin shell and protective panels with a soft damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking, full hand washing and machine washing. Do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean. Allow the gloves to air dry fully away from direct heat and sunlight before reconnecting the batteries.
