Living just outside of Denver, I'm out walking my two big dogs every morning, rain or shine. They're both strong, pulling over 80 pounds each, so I'm always on leash duty—no hands in pockets for warmth! I've been using these heated gloves for a few months now. I usually get about three walks out of a single charge, which isn't too bad, but I did go ahead and pick up an extra set of batteries. Trust me, when it's 25 degrees out, you don't want to find out halfway through your walk that your gloves have died.
I got the medium size since my hands aren't very big, and they fit pretty tight. Most days, the insulation alone is enough for the first part of the walk without even turning the heat on, which is nice. The battery packs, positioned at the wrists, do take some getting used to; they can feel a bit awkward, especially when trying to manage two leashes.
Cleaning them hasn't been on my agenda yet, so I'm hoping that when the time comes, it won't be a hassle. All in all, these gloves are a solid choice, though I do wish the battery life was a bit longer to avoid the mid-walk chill.

I went with the XXL size because the XL gloves I normally wear are a little tight onmy fingers. Although these gloves are a little loose to wear, they don't prevent me from controlling the bike, so I'm pretty happy with that aspect.

However, I was a little concerned about the materials used. The gloves feel a little too light for motorcycle gear, like theclothes you wear when skiing. The fingers and palms are madeof leather, which doesn't inspire confidence for heavy duty use. So far they're working, but I'm curious to see how they'll perform over time.

So far I've only tested them in temperatures around 36-38 degrees Fahrenheit, and I've hadto turn the heat up as high as it will go to keep the chill off. They don't get too hot, but enough to keep me comfortable while riding, especially since my bike grips are heated. However, when I'm standing still at a stoplight or in traffic, I notice a little chill seeping out of my fingertips.

I was also concerned about the waterproofness of the gloves. Given their lightweight construction, I'm skeptical abouttheir ability to withstand wet conditions, which is a real possibility in my area. I haven't had a chance to test them in therain yet, but I'll keep an eye out.

Overall, these gloves do a prettygood job of keeping the cold outon short commutes
